Port Royal Halts March 8, 9 & 10 Action - Opener Now March 17 Practice Session Is March 14

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Port Royal Speedway has cancelled its racing programs slated for March 8, 9 and 10. This includes both practice session dates and the slated season opener on Saturday.

Predicted cold temperatures and wet grounds forced the cancellation at noon on Wednesday.

Port Royal has now reset its season opener for next Saturday, March 17 at 5 pm, featuring the 410 sprints paying $4,000 to win and the super late models paying $2,200 to win.

A test and tune practice session has been scheduled for next Wednesday, March 14 from 6 – 9 pm, with pit gates opening at 5. The practice session is raindated for the next night, March 15.
