JONESTOWN, Pa. (May 25, 2020) – It was an action-packed doubleheader for Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss during the recent weekend, capping his two-day visit to Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, May 22-23, with a pair of World of Outlaws A-Main starts and one top-five finish.

Zearfoss’ top-five outcome occurred during the $20,000-to-win finale on Saturday. Starting third on the A-Main grid after finishing third during the evening’s dash, Zearfoss’ performance was just as exciting and it was impressive, exchanging multiple slide jobs on consecutive laps throughout the entire 40-lap contest. After a seemingly never-ending battle with Logan Schuchart, Brad Sweet and Brent Marks, Zearfoss faded slightly to finish fifth at the final checkers. Sixty-one cars made the call on Saturday night.

The ‘Jonestown Jet’ kicked-off his weekend with the Greatest Show On Dirt with a 12th- place finish on Friday after starting 18th.. Zearfoss qualified for the 30-lap main event after finishing fifth during his respective heat race.

“That was a lot of fun. I-55 is an awesome place to race. I’m already looking forward to getting back there,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./C&D Rigging Inc./BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/J.P. Adamsky Trucking/X-1 Race Cars/No. 3Z sprint car. “I can’t thank this team enough. We just kinda picked up and left home determined to come out here and race as much as we can. Tye and Shane do an incredible job and they really make my job easy. Having a team as dedicated as they are not only makes our team better, but they make things so much more fun.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with a trio of visits to Park Jefferson International Speedway in Jefferson, South Dakota. The site of their recent $6,000 Open Wheel Nationals victory in late-April, Zearfoss will join the MSTS 360 sprint cars later this evening, (Monday, May 25) to kick-off his week in the Mount Rushmore State, followed by back-to-back All Star Circuit of Champions starts on Friday and Saturday, May 29-30.
