BROWNSBURG, Ind. (June 29, 2020) – Although a tough start to his weekend at the Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota, finishing 18th during Thursday’s preliminary main event after working his way through the evening’s Last Chance Showdown, ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion, Donny Schatz, earned back-to-back top-ten finishes to close-out his visit to the Land of 10,000 Lakes, first finishing fifth during Friday’s preliminary main event, then capping the entire weekend with an eighth-place finish during the $30,000-to-win Jackson Nationals finale.

Schatz started tenth during the weekend headliner and earned his way into the big dance by way of runner-up finish during his respective qualifier.

Despite Saturday’s outcome packing an extra punch in terms of prestige, Donny Schatz’s preliminary result on Friday was most impressive, advancing seven spots to earn his top-five after starting 12th on the starting grid. The former Jackson Nationals champion was forced to do battle with the likes of Parker Price-Miller, Ian Madsen and David Gravel during his drive forward.
