VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 17, 2020) – The week all Pennsylvania race fans have been waiting for, especially amidst the chaos of 2020, is finally upon us, and Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall is just as excited.

Kicking-off with action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 26, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will hit seven of the nine scheduled Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs, all of which awarding top prizes of no less than $5,000.

After his visit to the world-famous paperclip, Whittall will continue Speedweek action with stops at Lincoln Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28. A two-day break will eventually lead into action at Port Royal Speedway on Wednesday, July 1, followed by consecutive events at Hagerstown Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Thursday through Saturday, July 2-4.

With so much hype and anticipation placed on Speedweek, Whittall plans to take full advantage of the opportunity and use his seven-race campaign as a turning point in his 2020 season.

“We’re excited, that’s for sure,” Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports/Brotherton Brewing Company/Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC/Pioneer Auto Body/Mid-Atlantic Transport/Worldwide Bearings/FK Rod Ends/Stilo Helmets/JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry/Keizer Aluminum Wheels/Enterprise/Ground Blind Boys/No. 67 sprint car. “It’s a great way for our team to build some momentum heading into the second half of the season. We really didn’t have much of a first half considering everything that has been going on, but with so many big races later in the year, if you’re going to get hot, this is the time to do it. I just want to thank all of our partners for making a schedule like this possible. We’re privileged to have the support that we do.”

Before diving head first into his Speedweek agenda, Whittall will spend the upcoming Saturday at Port Royal Speedway, joining the weekly field for another edition of Open Wheel Madness. Recent results at the ‘Speed Palace’ include a 19th-place finish on Sunday, June 14.

Forced to compete in the evening’s B-Main, Whittall rallied to transfer into the 25-lap/$5,000-to-win feature and jumped from 22nd to 19th.
