Michalski shows speed at Lincoln; Six PA Sprint Speedweek races ahead

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

PENNDEL, Pa. (June 22, 2020) – Despite an end result outside of the top-ten, finishing 18th after 30 laps of feature competition, the ‘Penndel Pistol’ Brett Michalski put together a sound performance at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway on Saturday evening and kicked-off the $4,000-to-win program with a heat race victory. Although a lackluster outcome on paper, Michalski’s trip to the Pigeon Hills served as a perfect test session for his upcoming Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek agenda that activates, officially, on Friday, June 26, at Williams Grove Speedway.

Michalski, driver of the Brett Michalski Motorsports/JR Michalski Heating & Air Conditioning/Irish Rover Station House/York by Johnson Controls/Wood Services/Richboro Pub/Maxim Chassis/Don Ott Racing Engines/Kriner Engines/Penske Shocks/VP Racing Fuels/Hoosier Tire/Wings Unlimited/Racer’s Used and New Parts Warehouse/CR Graphix/SC Signs/Pyrotect/Hinchman Indy/No. 73B sprint car, will participate in six of the nine Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek races, missing the Port Royal double and a trip to Selinsgrove.

“We’re working on ways to improve every time we are on the track. We set ourselves up for a good result on Saturday, but unfortunately, we kinda slipped back. Regardless, it was a great way to kick-off a busy stretch. We have a lot of racing ahead so I’m excited to head into Speedweek with some momentum and confidence,” Michalski stated. “All we can do is keep working and the wins will come.”

After his visit to Williams Grove Speedway, Michalski will continue the 2020 edition of PA Sprint Speedweek with a return visit to Lincoln Speedway on Saturday, June 27; the Kevin Gobrecht Memorial will award $9,200-to-win.

Michalski is a former winner at Lincoln Speedway, scoring his first-ever 410 victory on June 8, 2019.
