Zearfoss finds top-ten at Huset’s Speedway; River Cities, I-80, Black Hills triple next

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 23, 2021) – Steadily padding his 2021 World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year stat sheet, Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss earned his 15th top-ten appearance of the season on Sunday night, doing so during action at the state-of-the-art Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, South Dakota, on August 22. Zearfoss finished tenth to secure his top-ten check, maintaining his place after starting eighth on the feature grid.

Impressive enough, Zearfoss activated action at the Huset’s highbanks with the fourth-fastest time during qualifying time trials, following that accomplishment with a heat race victory. Zearfoss went on to finish eighth in the evening’s dash.

Despite wet weather causing some conflicts at River Cities Speedway on Friday, Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, got his weekend underway with a 12th-place run at Red River Valley Speedway in West Fargo, North Dakota, on Saturday, August 21; he started in the exact same position.

“It was a fun stretch through the upper Midwest. We get to do it again beginning Wednesday,” Brock Zearfoss said, a former World of Outlaws winner at Williams Grove Speedway. “I can’t say enough about my team. It’s been an up and down year for us, but the speed has been there. Switch some of our results with some better luck and we may have a win by now. I want to thank all of our partners for staying strong with us during this rookie season. They’ve been behind me one hundred percent and that makes my job a lot easier…having confidence is the most important part of this sport.”

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will enjoy two days off before returning to North Dakota this Wednesday, August 25, for a makeup date at Grand Forks’ River Cities Speedway. After that, The Greatest Show on Dirt will head to Nebraska’s I-80 Speedway on Friday, August 27, followed by a stop at South Dakota’s Black Hills Speedway on Sunday, August 29. Zearfoss will enter the stretch ninth in the World of Outlaws championship standings just behind Kraig Kinser and Kasey Kahne Racing’s James McFadden.
