Bachman Scores Wild Late Model Win; Baughman Bests Sprints; Mollick and Schneider Find Victory Lane

Sarver, PA (September 18, 2021) On Friday night champions were crowned and the Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy took to The Action Track for the final time in 2021. In the Precise Racing Products Late Models, Colton Flinner had his first career track championship wrapped up before the night of racing began and following a sizable pileup on the front stretch just two laps into the main event, looked to be on the way to put an exclamation point on his season with a feature win. However, Flinner made his way to the pits before the halfway point and a solid running Todd Bachman inherited the lead and held on, taking the lead back from Tyler Dietz and surviving a last lap effort from Gary Lyle en route to his first career feature win. AJ Flick came into the night just eight points back of points leader Brandon Matus in Peoples Natural Gas Sprint Car action and found himself starting on the front row of the main event while Matus suffered misfortune during the redraw, pulling a ninth starting spot. Flick set the pace as the early leader until invader Josh Baughman and Jack Sodeman Jr. managed to catch up and overtake him in the second half of the race. Baughman was able to stay in front the rest of the way for his second career victory at Lernerville while Matus was able to climb two spots to seventh, leaving him one point shy of a tie for the track championship as Flick became a five time champion when the checkered flag waved.

Jeremiah Shingledecker came into the night with a 12 point lead in the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modified standings and drove a near flawless night, coming up with a heat race victory and a second place finish in the main event after leading for nearly half the race. John Mollick was able to use a restart to bolt to the lead and once there, managed to stay in front the rest of the way for his first feature win of the season while Shingledecker salted away the championship by finishing with a strong second place run. And in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Penn Ohio Pro Stocks, Chris Schneider was the class of the field, bringing home his third feature win of the year, holding off a hard charging Daryl Charlier, who’d been sent to the tail of the field early on, to collect the victory. Corey McPherson pulled off near the midway point of the main event but had already wrapped up his seventh Pro Stock track title before the night got underway.
