Dietrich finds win six during BAPS visit, scores back-to-back top-tens with All Stars

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (September 20, 2021) – For the sixth time this season, and for the second time at BAPS Motor Speedway, “Double-D” Danny Dietrich is a main event winner, doing so during the annual Greg Hodnett Foundation Race on Thursday evening. September 17. The $5,000 triumph was the product of row one, losing the lead initially to Kunkletown, Pennsylvania’s Ryan Smith, then claiming the point for himself on lap 12. The victory was a second consecutive at BAPS Motor Speedway.

Dietrich, driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Bowhunters Superstore, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made, Graver’s Garage, Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse, No. 48 sprint car, continued his recent weekend with back-to-back starts against Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions, first participating in Williams Grove Speedway’s Jack Gunn Memorial on Friday, then Lincoln Speedway’s Dirt Classic VIII on Saturday.

Although not victorious, Dietrich put on a passing clinic against the traveling All Stars, capping the weekend by advancing 17 positions in two days. The Gettysburg, Pennsylvania-native advanced from 13th to fifth in the $7,000-to-win Jack Gunn Memorial, then climbed from 18th to ninth in the $20,000-to-win Dirt Classic.

“We did the best we could with the hands we were given. I think we were good enough to win all three of those races, but you have to be in a better position to capitalize,” Danny Dietrich said, who owns six victories at five different facilities thus far in 2021. “I can’t say enough about this team. My guys bust their butts and I appreciate everything they do for me. I think we have a few more wins left in the tank, so we’ll do what we can to capitalize when the Outlaws come to town in a few weeks.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing will continue their 2021 campaign with another doubleheader in the Keystone State, set to visit Williams Grove Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 24-25.

The World of Outlaws will make their return to Pennsylvania Posse Country the following weekend, set to battle the best in PA during the annual Williams Grove Speedway National Open; the finale will award $75,000.
