VINCENTOWN, N.J. (September 13, 2021) – Joining the best that sprint car racing has to offer, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports made the most of their three-day weekend at Port Royal Speedway for the 54th Tuscarora 50, cashing in for a pair of All Star Circuit of Champions A-Main starts, one of which the 50-lap, $54,000-to-win finale on Saturday, September 11. Although not qualifying directly, Whittall’s season-long dedication to the Juniata County “Speed Palace” granted the New Jersey-native a provisional starting position; he would go on to finish 21st.

In addition, Whittall, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car, earned an A-Main starting position in Friday’s Night Before the Tuscarora 50, winning the evening’s B-Main handily to do so. An early retirement would score Whittall 27th in the running order.

An average car count of 52 made the call for Tuscarora 50 weekend including a 57-car field for Saturday’s finale.

“It was a wild weekend, for sure, but I’m proud of our efforts. The Tuscarora 50 is an event everyone has circled on their calendar. That was no different for us. We’ve been excited for that race for months and we’re already looking ahead to next year,” Whittall said, a recent Williams Grove Speedway winner on June 4. “I can’t thank everyone enough for their hard work and support, including my team, my family, and all of our dedicated partners. We have another big weekend ahead, so we’ll reground and work for another win beginning Friday.”

As it stands, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports plan to rejoin the All Star Circuit of Champions for another Central Pennsylvania blockbuster on Friday and Saturday, September 17-18. The plan includes the rescheduled Jack Gunn Memorial at Williams Grove Speedway, followed by the $20,000-to-win Dirt Classic at Lincoln Speedway.
