Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing Announces 2022 Partner Line-Up, Unveils Paint Schemes

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Jan. 31, 2022) – With the 2022 racing season commencing this week, Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing (TSR) is pleased to announce its partner line-up and unveil an all-new look for 10-Time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series (WoO) champion, Donny Schatz. Kicking-off this year’s campaigns with the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions Series at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Feb. 4 -5, Schatz will set his sights on an 11th career WoO Series championship with the DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., on Feb. 8 – 12.

Advance Auto Parts, a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider that serves both professional installer and do-it-yourself customers with over 4,700 locations across North America, will return as a co-primary partner on Schatz’s familiar No. 15 entry.

For a third consecutive season, Carquest, an American automotive parts distribution network owned and operated by Advance through over 1,300 independent retailers, will support Fargo, North Dakota’s Schatz as a co-primary partner setting aim on success from coast-to-coast in 2022 and ultimately a WoO championship.

In addition to Advance and Carquest, Ford Performance, the official engine provider for TSR, will also return as a primary partner on Schatz’ No. 15. Owned and operated by the Ford Motor Company and headquartered in Dearborn, Mich., Ford Performance is responsible for the brand’s major racing operations globally as well as overseeing the development of Ford’s racing engines.

The 2022 season will see TSR continue its assistance in developing and perfecting Ford Performance’s 410c.i. engine, the FPS 410. In 2021, Ford Performance helped power Schatz to three WoO Victories, including his 300th career series feature event win, ending the season fourth in the series championship standings. The 2022 campaign will mark Schatz’s 26th season as a full-time WoO driver and his third utilizing the FPS 410 powerplant.

Continuing a 12-year relationship with the Brownsburg, Ind. based motorsports operation, Curb-Agajanian Racing will again partner with TSR as a co-entrant for Schatz. Partnering in 2010 for the first time, Curb-Agajanian Racing, Curb Records and TSR own a longstanding tradition of monumental success, acquiring not only victories but six Knoxville Nationals championships and six World of Outlaws championships.

On board for a fifth season at TSR is Sage Fruit, the sales and marketing firm for four grower/packer/shippers of Northwest Tree Fruits, who will return in 2022 as a major partner TSR and Schatz. For three generations, Sage Fruit has been delivering the best apples, pears and cherries to consumers from coast-to-coast. To locate Sage Fruit in your area, visit https://www.sagefruit.com/store-locator/.

Each helping TSR during their quest to find success during the new year, Absolute Automation & Security, empowering clients by integrating technology into their lives with customized automation and security systems that add efficiency, convenience, and peace of mind, and Hunt Brothers Pizza, the nation’s largest brand of made-to-order pizza in the convenience store industry with over 8,000 locations, will each return to TSR as essential partners for the 2022 season.

Working to expand its Shield Health Protection Product line as well as its body cameras for active law enforcement, Lenexa, Kansas’ Digital Ally will also return to TSR as a major partner for the 2022 season. Specializing in the design and manufacturing of the highest quality video recording equipment and analytic software on the market, Digital Ally will celebrate three years as a TSR partner in 2022.

TSR is also proud to welcome Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts (Elliott’s) to its partnership line-up in 2022. Warsaw, Ind., based Elliott’s, the official trailer of TSR along with Featherlite, carries a large selection of trailers and golf carts and is also a founding partner of the Allstar Series. Owned and operated by Cindy Elliott, the familiar motorsports brand is a one-stop experience for sales, service, financing and parts.

Schatz will commence the upcoming season with the Allstar Series opener at Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 4 – 5. The weekend will kick-off with an open practice for the series on Thursday, Feb. 3. For those who can’t make the journey to the Peach State can watch each night live on FloRacing. Spencer Bayston and CJB Motorsports ready to kick-off Outlaw campaign at Volusia Speedway Park

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

CARLISLE, Pa. (January 31, 2022) – The 2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign blasts off in less than two weeks, and Lebanon, Indiana’s Spencer Bayston is more than ready to get the season rolling. At the helm of the CJB Motorsports, Signing Day Sports, JRC Transportation, Nyce Crete and Landis, Ecynbro Trucking, C&S Lawn and Landscape, No. 5, Bayston will chase Rookie of the Year honors with the Greatest Show On Dirt, kicking things off with a three-day blockbuster at Volusia Speedway Park in De Leon Springs, Florida, on Thursday through Saturday, February 10-12.

Headlined with three, full programs, the DIRTcar Nationals trio will open a busy winter slate for Bayston and his fellow World of Outlaws competitors, ultimately leading the former USAC National Midget champion and his Pennsylvania-based outfit from north central Florida to areas within Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, and eventually, California.

“We’re really excited to get this season started. I’m feeling really confident about this opportunity, and I’m certain this team has the knowledge and experience to help me make the most of my rookie campaign,” Spencer Bayston noted. “With people like Chad Clemens and Barry Jackson in my corner, it’s tough not to be confident.”

Although a rookie by touring standards, Bayston is far from inexperienced. The 23-year-old owns a pair of victories with the World of Outlaws, most recently during Nittany Showdown action at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, October 9. The $15,000 triumph, acquired in just his fourth start with CJB Motorsports, was accomplished in fantastic fashion, crossing under the final checkers by a margin of victory equaling nearly five seconds.

Bayston’s first-ever World of Outlaws victory occurred just three months prior, leading the final 33 laps of the coveted Brad Doty Classic at Attica Raceway Park for a $10,000 payday. The win, outdueling Series champion Brad Sweet, was also a first-ever for Bayston’s team at the time, Sam McGhee Motorsports.

In addition to his World of Outlaws achievements, Bayston is also a five-time All Star Circuit of Champions winner over the course of his young career, two of which accumulated during the 2021 season. Bayston’s first All Star triumph of the year occurred during Sharon Speedway’s Lou Blaney Memorial in mid-July, followed by a $10,000 Attica Ambush prize over Labor Day weekend. Like his Brad Doty Classic victory, each of his recent All Star wins were aboard Sam McGhee’s No. 11.

“I actually reached out to a handful of different drivers and asked them what to expect as a rookie on the Outlaw tour. They were all really supportive and gave me a lot of valuable insight,” Bayston continued. “We’re going to give it everything we got. I’m ready to get to Volusia.”

For those who can not make the journey to Volusia Speedway Park to witness Spencer Bayston and CJB Motorsports kick-off their 2022 World of Outlaws campaign, DIRTVision has you covered. Each and every event on the Outlaws schedule, including Volusia’s DIRTcar Nationals, will be broadcast live at www.dirtvision.com.

Big Game Motorsports Starting Season Next Week in Florida During Famed DIRTcar Nationals

Inside Line Promotions - WINDOM, Minn. (Jan. 31, 2022) - The 2022 season gets underway next week for Big Game Motorsports, which will venture to Florida to tackle the 51st annual DIRTcar Nationals.

Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville hosts FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions races on Feb. 8-9 before the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series kicks off its 2022 campaign at the track with a tripleheader running Feb. 10-12.

David Gravel returns to Big Game Motorsports following a stout first season with the team, including a fourth-place finish during all four DIRTcar Nationals races last year.

"It's been a track I feel I'm pretty good at, but don't have a lot of wins in my career," he said. "I've been solid, but would love to win more races."

Gravel was victorious at the half-mile track in 2017. He has recorded a top 10 during each of his last 12 races at the track dating back to 2019 and he has at least one top-10 result during the DIRTcar Nationals since 2011. Eight of those years featured a top-five outing, including five with a podium finish.

"It's a fast track that can give you a lot of different surfaces," he said. "It's a confidence booster if you can run well right out of the box to start the season. I think we have the pieces in place to do that."

Sides Venturing to Florida to Open Season at DIRTcar Nationals

Inside Line Promotions - BARTLETT, Tenn. (Jan. 31, 2022) - This season will be much like most of the last two decades for Jason Sides, who returns to full-time competition with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series.

Sides has spent nearly all of the last 20 years on tour with 'The Greatest Show on Dirt' and this year is no different with the kickoff set for next week when Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., hosts the 51 st annual DIRTcar Nationals.

The FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions races are Feb. 8-9 followed by three nights with the World of Outlaws. Sides plans to run the first night and if all goes well to take the second night off in preparation for the World of Outlaws season opener.

"I'm excited to get back to racing after enjoying the offseason," Sides said. "You always look forward to the offseason once you get to the fall each year, but then after a week or two of not being on the road you're itching to get back out there."

Sides has produced success at Volusia Speedway Park, where he won in 2011. He has also recorded at least one top 10 during the DIRTcar Nationals in 12 of the last 15 years.

"It's been a feast or famine type of track for us," he said. "We've had some good runs and competed for wins and top fives, but we've also been involved in some wild wrecks and had some unfortunate things happen. You always want to start the season on a positive note. And it can really put you behind if you start it on a bad note so we're hopeful we can be consistently fast and get through the first week of the season with some strong results."

Feature Photo Credit:  Ron Rutherford

Rutherford Motorsports, Central Pennsylvania’s newest sprint car team set to debut this season, is organizing a raffle fundraiser with a top cash prize of $2,500 along with four additional giveaways.

One ticket is $10, while 12 tickets are $100. The raffle is scheduled for March 13 at 8 p.m. For tickets, fill out the form here.

Tickets can also be picked up from Ron Rutherford and paid via PayPal to Ron51895189@gmail.com or by calling MAMMA’S PIZZA of Wellsville at (717) 432-9443.

All donations will benefit Rutherford Motorsports, the York, Pa., team recently launched by MAMMA’s PIZZA of Wellsville owner Ron Rutherford.

Second-place will receive $1,000 cash, with third-place pocketing $500 cash.

Fourth-place wins free pizza from MAMMA’s PIZZA for a year while fifth-place receives a $100 gift card to MAMMA’s PIZZA.

“With all the work that goes into building a new team, we didn’t really have time to do a fundraiser,” Rutherford said. “I had a lot of requests for that, so I came up with the idea to do a raffle instead.

“A lot of teams use raffles and fundraisers to help throughout the season, as we know cost of racing has went up dramatically. We are grateful for anybody that purchases a raffle ticket. It goes a long way to help our race team throughout the season.

“Can’t wait to see everybody at the track.”

Rutherford Motorsports has prepared two sprint cars for Central Pennsylvania competition this year.

Matt Campbell, a two-time winner a year ago, will drive Rutherford’s flagship Whitetails Down / Jim Lowe Snap-On of Dillsburg, PA / MAMMA’s PIZZA of Wellsville / Renegade Performance Fuels and Lubricants Garman Racing / Raze Energy / N.S.W. Mechanical / Billow’s Lawn & Landscaping / RA Smith & Sons Auto Collision / Mac Stack / Dressler’s Auto Electric / Byers Tire Sale / Lakeside Apparel & Graphics Co. / DW Automotive Services, LLC / Wolfrun Landscapes No. 19R machine regularly with the Pennsylvania Posse.

Tylar Rutherford, 18-year-old son of Ron, will run his first sprint car season aboard the No. 19R in the 358 ranks.

Rutherford Motorsports has no plans to partake in next month’s Lincoln Speedway Ice Breaker event in Abbottstown, Pa., as its on-track debut will either take place later this winter or early spring.

Classic Ink USA Southern Swing presented by Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts kicks-off February 4-5 at Senoia Raceway

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (January 27, 2022) – One week from tomorrow, the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will ignite their 2022 campaign, and as tradition has it, “America’s Series” will launch the new year with a non-points swing through the southern states, contesting six events at three tracks over a 12-day span. Dubbed the Classic Ink USA Southern Swing presented by Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts, the six-race tour will launch with a two-day visit to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia, on Friday and Saturday, February 4-5. A total winner’s share equaling $18,000 will be awarded during the Peach State stay with $8,000 being handed out on Friday and $10,000 on Saturday.

“We’re always excited to get back to the track in February,” said Tony Stewart, owner of the All Stars. “I know a lot of teams are chomping at the bit to head south. We are excited to introduce our Series to a new market in Senoia, and we look forward to our annual stops at Volusia and East Bay. A big thank you to Brian and Cindy for their support of the Series and the Southern Swing in 2022.”

The Classic Ink USA Southern Swing presented by Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts will continue with an annual visit to Volusia Speedway Park for DIRTcar Nationals action on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 8-9. Helping launch the five-race sprint car segment of Volusia’s DIRTcar Nationals, each night of the All Star portion will award $6,000.

“We’re excited to continue our relationship with the All Star Circuit of Champions,” Brian Ellenberger said, CEO of Classic Ink USA Screenprinting and Embroidery. “We’ve been associated with the Series for several years, and to have the opportunity to be a part of a major portion of their schedule is really exciting. We hope to not only use this opportunity to promote our brand and our services, but also do our part in helping promote the sport that we all love so much. Good luck to all of those racing in Georgia and Florida."

East Bay Raceway Park in Tampa, Florida, will be the final stop for the All Stars on their 2022 Southern Swing, invading the action-packed clay oval on Monday and Tuesday, February 14-15. Headlining the first two nights of the sprint car segment of East Bay’s annual Winternationals, the All Star doubleheader will award $6,000 each, increasing the overall Southern Swing winner’s share to $42,000.

“We’re happy to be back on board with the All Stars for their Southern Swing. The Series has been a big part of our racing family for several years and I can’t think of a better way to kick-off the new year,” Cindy Elliott said of Elliott’s Custom Trailers and Carts. “The Southern Swing gives our brand the opportunity to level up and gain extra exposure. We’re excited to head south.”

Once action in Georgia and Florida is complete, the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1 will take a seven-week hiatus before resuming the 2022 season with a doubleheader at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio, on Friday and Saturday, April 8-9. The Core and Main Spring Nationals, awarding $6,000 each night, will officially launch the All Star points championship.

CHAD'S BACK: Boespflug Teams with Scott Benic for Inaugural Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Campaign 14-Race Season Begins at Volusia’s DIRTcar Nationals on February 14-15

MARION, IN - January 26, 2022 - A pair of familiar names will return to full-time status on the non-wing scene in 2022 as Chad Boespflug and Scott Benicunite for a title run with the Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Series presented by Low-E Insulation.

The new combination brings together a nine-time USAC National Sprint Car winning driver and the only crew chief in history to win the USAC Triple Crown. It also brings Benic's 2B Racing operation back to life for the first time in nearly a decade.

Their bid for the inaugural championship begins on Monday & Tuesday, February 14-15 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL. The 14-race Series starts as part of the DIRTcar Nationals with a $5,000-to-win opener and a $10,000-to-win finale. For fans unable to enjoy #FLinFEB, you can watch every lap LIVE on DIRTVision.

BUY TICKETS HERE (Feb. 14-15)

For Boespflug, the Hanford, CA native will return to a more regular racing schedule after focusing on business with Capitol Renegade and starting a family.

“Not racing but a few times in 2021 was a good reset for me,” Boespflug said. “I was just burnt out from chasing it for so long. I would have raced more but the right opportunities just didn’t present themselves. The chance to race for Scott Benic and 2B Racing has me excited to go racing again. It’s going to be a really fun year and I can’t wait to get back after it.”

For Benic, this is his next chapter in a storied career. The owner of Benic Enterprises has enjoyed several significant achievements such as the 1994 World of Outlaws Crew Chief of the Year with Jeff Swindell, the 2005 USAC Sprint Car title with Levi Jones, the 2008 USAC Silver Crown title with Jerry Coons Jr., and the 2009 USAC Midget title with Brad Kuhn.

“Dana [Benic] and I are extremely excited to work on putting the 2B Racing team back on the track and hope to find speed out of the box next month at Volusia," Scott Benic added. "Working with Chad should bring some fun and excitement to the fold. He had great speed in recent years and then stepped away from driving duties over the last few to concentrate on business ventures, but now is ready to step back in with both feet on the gas.”

The new 2B Racing sprint cars will utilize Maxim Chassis, ride on Afco shocks, and have motors built by the venerable Claxton Engines. Benic is partnering with the Lake Ozark Performance Expo to kickstart this new journey.

Boespflug joins a group including Jason McDougal, Chase Stockon, Zach Daum, Shane Cockrum, Landon Simon, Mario Clouser, and several soon-to-be-announced drivers as those already committed to the new Series.

Big Game Motorsports and Gravel Chasing World of Outlaws Championship in 2022

Inside Line Promotions - WINDOM, Minn. (Jan. 26, 2022) - A fresh design and heightened goals highlight the end to the offseason for Big Game Motorsports and David Gravel, who return to the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series trail in two weeks following a successful first season together.

The team placed second in the 2021 World of Outlaws championship standings - a career best for Gravel and tied for the best ever for the team. The next step is a championship, which is the ultimate goal.

"It was a great first year," Gravel said. "We're keeping most of the team from last year so I'm really looking forward to continuing to build my relationship with Cody (Jacobs) and the guys. We have most of the same equipment. I feel we should start off pretty close and then fine-tune."

Gravel captured 11 World of Outlaws victories last year, which is the most in a single season for Big Game Motorsports since 2012. The team added three non-sanctioned wins for a total of 14 trips into Victory Lane.

"We had a great season and still have room to grow so I'm excited for our potential," Gravel said. "Hopefully we can start off the year on a strong note at Volusia. It's a track where I've been successful, but don't have a lot of wins."

The season is slated to begin with the 51st annual DIRTcar Nationals at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Fla., which runs Feb. 8-12 with the first two nights being sanctioned by the FloRacing All Star Circuit of Champions followed by the first three World of Outlaws races of the season.

RULES BULLETIN: World of Outlaws to Implement Fire Suppression System by 2023 Season SFI Specification Expected to be Finalized by Early Summer

CONCORD, NC - January 26, 2022 - Series Director Carlton Reimers and Technical Director Tom Devitt have confirmed the first rules bulletin of the year with an on-board fire suppression system becoming mandatory to compete with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series by the beginning of next season.

FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM: By the first event of 2023, fire suppression systems will be required for all World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series competitors. Sprint Car Safety Council members are in the process of working with SFI and manufacturers to develop a set of specifications which is anticipated to be completed by May 2022. It is anticipated that the specifications will include required number of nozzle(s) and their location, minimum 5lb system, bottle construction, type of mounting hardware, etc. It is recommended that anyone considering a sprint car fire suppression system should wait until the SFI specifications are released before making a purchase. If you intend to install a system before the SFI specification is completed, be aware you may be required to update it when the SFI specification is mandatory in 2023.

Series officials have already begun conducting cockpit nozzle tests, while the SFI will begin their research & development on January 26. As previously stated, a specification is expected to be finalized by late spring or early summer. The fire suppression systems will then be mandatory at the 2023 World of Outlaws season opener.

"We've had preliminary discussions about this for the last few years, so this has been the goal to get here for some time," Devitt added. "I brought it up again at Knoxville last year and presented the rule to drivers and teams, and everyone was well receptive of it. We just have to go through the process of refining what exactly the rule will be. The two SFI standards right now don't fit into a Sprint Car, so we're creating a new 17.3 specification. It'll take a bit of time, so that's why we're holding off until 2023."

Titled the "Single Seat Open Wheel Front Engine On-Board Fire Suppression System," the SFI has already drafted the 17.3 specification with finalization on the rule coming once research and development are complete. Due to the open cockpit nature of a Sprint Car, the SFI 17.3 specification is expected to be tougher to pass than other fire suppression specifications.

Further updates on this system and any other rules bulletin will be announced once finalized. Drivers and teams can view the current World of Outlaws rulebook HERE.

In the meantime, the 2022 World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series season begins in two weeks with a trip to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL for the DIRTcar Nationals on February 10-12. Fans unable to attend the event can watch every lap LIVE on DIRTVision.

Williams Grove Pumps More Money Into Sprints Again In 2022

Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway has announced that all 410 and 358 sprint car purses for the 2022 season will remain the same or boast even larger payouts than those in 2021.

The track made the announcement Friday as plans continue for the dawning of the new season at the track.

The purse revelations were made thanks to the renewed commitment of a returning anonymous sponsor.

All 11 Williams Hoosier Grove Diamond Series races for the 410 sprint cars in 2022 will pay a minimum of $6,000 to the winner.

Yellow Breeches 500 races for 410s will remain at $5,000 to win while still posting the standard $500 to start.

And Williams Grove Speedway will pay the victor of 10 other weekly races for the super sprints a total of $5,500 for the top spot.

On top of that, all three Friday night World of Outlaws shows in 2022 have seen notable increases amounting to a payout of $1,000 just to start each of the mains.

The trio of Friday WoO shows take place on May 13, July 22 and on September 30.

Adding to the 2022 World of Outlaws bluster at the oval will be an amped-up payoff to the H & N Landscaping May 14 Morgan Cup Champion.

This year’s Morgan Cup victor will take home a Saturday share worth 12K for the feature win plus another 5K for the Morgan laurels, sending him home with a cool $17,000.

A new, highly lucrative race for USAC East wingless 360 sprints has been introduced to the season agenda at Williams Grove, coming up on Friday, June 3.

The Bill Gallagher Memorial 5G to win race for the USAC East stars will serve as a giant showcase for the wingless 360’s as a marquee event of the circuit’s season meant to honor late USAC East and URC No. 5G car owner Bill Gallagher.

Returning, purse-rich notables for the 410 sprints in 2022 will be the Friday May 27 All Stars Randy Wolfe Tribute event posting a cool $10,000 to win while the September 16 All Stars Dirt Classic Qualifier pays 7K to the winner.

Other marquee, high-dollar Williams Grove specials for the 410 sprints that have long put up big money and include the All Stars April 22, $6,000 to win Tommy Hinnershitz Classic, the RHI Magnesita July 1 $15,000 to win Mitch Smith Memorial and the Union Quarries August 26 Twin 20s.

Car owner Joe Harz will be honored with a Diamond Series Tribute Race on September 2.

Again in 2022 the prestigious Champion Racing Oil Williams Grove National Open will be offering $75,000 to the champion while celebrating its 60th annual, Diamond Anniversary running with the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars in the house on October 1.

Another perk added to the 2022 season comes in the form of the PA Dyno Hard Charger Award to be doled out at each regular 410 and 358 sprint racing program.

PA Dyno of Stillwater will pay $50 in cash and a $50 gift certificate to the 410 hard charger at all non-sanctioned programs while giving away $25 in cash and a $25 gift certificate to all 358 hard chargers.

The 2022 season lidlifter at Williams Grove is slated for March 13 at 2 pm, offering both the 410 sprints and the first-ever appearance at the track by the wingless super sportsman.

PA Tracks Big Diamond, Grandview, & BAPS Unite for the Return of the Tri-Track Series in 2022

YORK HAVEN, PA - Pennsylvania modified fans can’t help reminiscing about the former Tri-Track Sportsman Modified Tour that dominated

the early 1990s.

It featured Friday night stops at popular Big Diamond Speedway before shifting to weekend staples Grandview Speedway and Penn National Speedway for intense racing on Saturday and Sunday nights.

The modified scene, as people knew it, was saddened in 1996 when Penn National closed its gates forever. Since then,

area modified drivers and fans have asked for a similar collaboration and the return of the Tri-Track Series.

And now they will get their wish.

A Trio of tracks have united to form the Pennsylvania Tri-Track Modified Series, which will start out as six races on the

schedule. Big Diamond Speedway, Grandview Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway will be part of the Pennsylvania

Tri-Track Modified Series in 2022.

“We’ve hosted Modified races at BAPS the last few years and have heard fans talking about that series,” said Kolten

Gouse, General Manager of BAPS Motor Speedway. “That was a popular deal, and it got us thinking about doing

something similar.

“This is a change to not only bring back what was a popular group of races in a smaller capacity to start, but also promote the spec modifieds in central Pennsylvania”

The Pennsylvania Tri-Track Modified Series kicks off Sunday May 1 at BAPS Motor Speedway before moving to Big

Diamond Speedway on Friday May 13 and Friday June 3. The fourth and fifth race will head to Grandview Speedway,

with the first stop being Tuesday, June 14 for the Thunder on the Hill Series and the Tuesday, June 28 race with the 410

Sprint Pennsylvania Speedweek. Things will wrap up at BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday, November 12.

Each event will pay a minimum of $3,000 to win and $300 to start the feature. Big Diamond Speedway & BAPS Motor Speedway will feature $3,500 to win for their series races. There will be a minimum point fund for the top 10 drivers that run all six events that will feature $1500 to the series champion and $150 for the tenth driver that runs all events.

Races that are held at each track will follow their track rules for the Pennsylvania Tri-Track Modified Series races. The

format will consist of a draw for heat-race groups. Cars will then time in warm-ups against other drivers in their heat-race group to determine the heat-race lineup. Heat race winners and the fastest qualifier advance to a revenge draw. The rest of the A-main will be lined up heads up.

“We look forward to working with some of the local tracks in Pennsylvania” Big Diamond Speedway promoter Jake

Smulley said. “This should help build up the PA Spec small block deal in the region and eliminate the need to travel far for special spec races.” “Hopefully, it will lead to bigger things down the road for the fans, racers and the racetracks”

 Series Point Fund:

To be Eligible, driver would need to run all six Pennsylvania Tri-Track Series events. Point Fund is Based on all 6 events

being completed, with the point fund being paid at the last race BAPS Motor Speedway.

Top 10 drivers in points that were at all six events:

1. $1500

ON THE GASS: Oklahoma Teenager Noah Gass is a Full-Time Outlaw in 2022 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year Battle Begins at Volusia on February 10-12

CONCORD, NC - January 6, 2022 - With the season-opening DIRTcar Nationals still over a month away, the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series roster is continuing to take shape.

Today, Noah Gass of Mounds, OK announced his intention to hit the road and go full-time with The Greatest Show on Dirt in 2022. The teenager will pilot his family-owned Arrowhead Electric, Big G Transport, Triple-X/Claxton #20G across the near 90-race slate this season.

He'll be waging war with Kasey Kahne (KKR #9) and Spencer Bayston (CJB #5) in the chase for Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year honors.

"Being only 18-years-old, this is about as cool as it gets," Gass said. "Being able to run with the best of the best every weekend all over the country, I mean how badass is that to say. It's The Greatest Show on Dirt for a reason, and I can't wait to be a part of it."

Less than a year removed from his World of Outlaws debut in March of 2021, Gass has shown signs of improvement all throughout his first 25 events with the Series. Things started slowly by only making three Features in his first 13 attempts, but quickly improved with 10 starts over his last 12 races, including a career-best 12th-place finish at River Cities (ND) in August.

A fellow "Sooner State" native along with Oklahoma City's Wayne Johnson, Gass rose through the ranks with experience in Micro Sprints, Midgets, and Sprint Cars of the wingless and winged variety. Last year alone he scored a pair of Interstate Racing Association (IRA) victories in Wisconsin and earned several top-fives with the Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) in Illinois.

"It's definitely not going to be easy going on the road full-time, but if it was then everyone would do it," Gass mentioned. "We are going to have our challenges, so it will be important to stay positive and keep our team morale and attitude up. We have a lot of goals going into the 2022 season and we're ready to get it going at Volusia."

"I have complete confidence in Cody [Cordell] and Robert [McQuinn] that they're going to work hard to make sure I have a great car every night," he continued. "We are not as big as most of the teams on the road and we know that, but we're not going to let it hold us back at all."

The 2022 season begins in just over a month on Thursday-Saturday, February 10-12 at Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL as part of the 51st DIRTcar Nationals. Fans can BUY TICKETS HERE or watch Every Lap LIVE on DIRTVision.

Gass, along with Johnson, will both enjoy their lone homecoming of the upcoming campaign on April 1 at Lawton Speedway. Tickets for the only World of Outlaws showcase in Oklahoma this year are available HERE.

Clinton County Speedway Announces Schedule for 2022 Season with Several Hallmark Events

Mill Hall, PA – The Clinton County Fair Association is pleased to announce the tentative schedule for the 2022 racing season at the 3/8 mile oval.  The season will feature 26 events with a weekly division headlined by the RaceSaver Sprint Cars or the Limited Late Models.  There are also several sanctioning groups that will make their first appearances at the speedway in 2022.

“The 2022 racing season will definitely be exciting,” says race promoter Jason McCahan. “After a successful 410 show last season, we worked with our sponsor to establish a Sprint Car Series in 2022. The NAPA/Toner Auto Parts Sprint Car Series will include special events featuring the 410 Sprint Cars, the USAC Wingless Sprint Cars and the URC Sprint Cars.  We are also working on final details for our  Super Late Model event, the CW Smith Memorial and our summer championships”

The PA 410 Sprint Car Shootout presented by NAPA/Toner Auto Parts will pay $4,000 to win and is scheduled for Saturday, August 13th.  Also, as an added attraction for this event, the IMCA modifieds will be making their first return in eight years to Clinton County Speedway and the 4 Cylinders will have their Summer Championship.

The URC Sprints are scheduled for Friday, July 8th and the USAC Wingless Sprints will compete on Friday, August 19th.”

The Central PA Legends cars will also make their inaugural visit to the speedway on June 17th.  The Legends will also compete on July 15th and August 19th.

The season will start with a practice session on Saturday, April 9th.  The official season opener is scheduled for Friday April 16th with the RaceSaver Sprints, Pro Stocks, 270 Micros, 600 Micros and Four Cylinders. The RaceSaver Sprint Car races are sanctioned by the Laurel Highlands Sprint Car Association.

The Nittany 40 for the RaceSaver Sprint cars will be featured on Saturday July 2nd.  “We are planning a two race weekend for the RaceSaver Sprint cars and look to also host a 270 Micro National that weekend,” stated McCahan.   The other 2 race weekend on the schedule is the Friday – Saturday of the 410 Sprint cars on in August.

The Limited Late Models will compete in the annual Len Stroud Memorial on Friday, September 9th and details are still in the works for a Super Late Model Show during the summer.

The 270 Micro Sprints, 600 Micro Sprints, Pro Stock and 4 Cylinders will compete on a regular basis, those 4 divisions featured on the annual mid-week special during the annual Clinton County Fair on Wednesday, August 3rd.

The speedway is still accepting marketing partners for the 2022 season.  For the latest speedway information, visit the speedway’s website at www.clintoncountyspeedway.com or follow the speedway on Facebook.

BAPS MOTOR SPEEDWAY AND BAPS AUTO PAINTS & SUPPLY EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP THROUGH 2027

YORK HAVEN, PA - Since Scott Gobrecht purchased Susquehanna Speedway before the 2016 season, the management team has worked tirelessly to bring top-flight racing and an improved facility to central Pennsylvania fans.

A big part of the speedway’s success can be traced back to 2018. That’s when BAPS Auto Paints Supply agreed to a groundbreaking naming rights deal that changed the name of the York Haven, Pa., track to BAPS Motor Speedway.

The partnership has been a good one. So much so that BAPS Auto Paints Supply has signed an extension with Gobrecht and speedway General Manager that will take the naming rights deal through 2027.

“We are thankful for everything that BAPS Auto Paints Supply and the Berkheimer family have done for the speedway,” Gouse said. “To have a business and a family stand behind what we are doing, it’s pretty amazing.

“It’s an honor to be associated with a company like BAPS for what will now be 10 years. We hope to continue that partnership for many years to come and continue to provide quality entertainment for competitors and fans.”

“Most businesses form a business deal and partnership when constructing an agreement like this, in our case it was a relationship that turned into a partnership. The last four years has been nothing short of exciting watching the growth and changes in the speedway. We are very excited to extend our agreement another 5 years and see what is in store over this time. Thank you to Scott and Kolten for coming together and making this relationship one that will be remembered forever,” Dean Berkheimer said.

BAPS Motor Speedway will kick off the 2022 season on Saturday, March 19. The program will feature Super Sportsman, Late Models, and Legends.

Spectacular Month of June Highlights 2022 Season: 31 Race Dates along with Tractor & Truck Pull and Monster Trucks

Abbottstown, PA (January 1, 2022) – The 2022 season schedule for Pennsylvania’s Lincoln Speedway is highlighted by 31 appearances between its two premier sprint car divisions, the 410 and 358 sprints. Back again for 2022 is the tractor and truck pull along with the Crownstone Equipment Monster Truck Freedom Fest.

The recently announced Steve Smith Tribute Race on June 4 is slated to be the highest paying non-sanctioned race for the 410 sprint cars at Lincoln in 2022. The marquee event will pay $19,000 to win in honor of the Black Bandit’s famous #19 sprint car.

Lincoln Speedway will host 14 different divisions during its 70th season, with 29 dates for the 410 sprints and 16 dates for the 358 sprints. The 410 sprints will start their season with the $5,000-to-win “Ice Breaker 30” on February 26th. The 358 sprints will hit the clay for the first time on March 19th. Both sprint car divisions will end their season on October 15th at the Turner Automotive Night of Champions. Once again, the points battle will run until the final race of the season. New races this year featuring both sprint divisions include Golf Cart Services Night on April 16th, Messick Equipment Night on May 21, Rack Daddie Rumble on July 30 and the Elijah Hawkins Memorial on September 3. The super late models will headline the Lazer Late Model Clash on October 8.

On April 23 during Gene Latta Ford “Wheel of Fortune” Night, the winner of the 410 sprint feature will spin a wheel in victory lane to increase their $4,000 winnings to $5,000, $6,000 or $7,000. Another addition to the schedule for the 410 sprint cars is the $5,000 to win Freedom Off-Road Speedweek Tune-up on June 18. The entire 2022 schedule is available online at www.lincolnspeedway.com/schedule and at the end of this release.

The midgets will return to Lincoln twice in 2022 under the ARDC sanction. You can catch them in the Pigeon Hills on June 4th and August 20th.

As part of their tour in 2022, the Super Sportsman will make two trips to Lincoln. They will be in action on May 7th and July 16th.

The USAC East Coast Sprint Cars will make an appearance at Lincoln on June 4th as a part of the Steve Smith Tribute Race.

Along with the new additions to the schedule, many familiar and popular dates will be back for 2022. The 19th Annual Weldon Sterner Memorial is slated for April 9th and will pay $6,900 to win. The World of Outlaws return to take on the PA Posse in the “Gettysburg Clash” on May 11th. Fallen Firefighters Night is slated for June 11th. Lincoln will host two PA Speedweek shows with the first on June 25th and the second on June 27th. The All-Star Circuit of Champions make two trips to the 3/8th mile oval with their first stop on August 27th for the $7,300 to win “Kramer Klash”. The All-Stars return on September 17th for the $20,000-to-win “Dirt Classic IX.”

Also back in 2022 are the Bob Leiby Memorial on May 28, L&M Tire and Wheel Night on July 9, Dean’s Auto Plaza Night on July 16, DCS School of Driving Night on August 6 and the Barry Skelly Memorial on August 20

In addition, there will be special shows featuring kids “Big Wheel” racing, and several auto racing “club” nights.

Located in Abbottstown, PA, the 3/8th-mile high-banked clay oval has been a staple in professional auto racing for 70 years. The Pigeon Hills oval is one of several famed Central Pennsylvania race tracks which represent the toughest, most competitive weekly sprint car racing in the nation. A family fun night to be had by all who visit the famed Lincoln Speedway!
