BAPS MOTOR SPEEDWAY AND BAPS AUTO PAINTS & SUPPLY EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP THROUGH 2027

YORK HAVEN, PA - Since Scott Gobrecht purchased Susquehanna Speedway before the 2016 season, the management team has worked tirelessly to bring top-flight racing and an improved facility to central Pennsylvania fans.

A big part of the speedway’s success can be traced back to 2018. That’s when BAPS Auto Paints Supply agreed to a groundbreaking naming rights deal that changed the name of the York Haven, Pa., track to BAPS Motor Speedway.

The partnership has been a good one. So much so that BAPS Auto Paints Supply has signed an extension with Gobrecht and speedway General Manager that will take the naming rights deal through 2027.

“We are thankful for everything that BAPS Auto Paints Supply and the Berkheimer family have done for the speedway,” Gouse said. “To have a business and a family stand behind what we are doing, it’s pretty amazing.

“It’s an honor to be associated with a company like BAPS for what will now be 10 years. We hope to continue that partnership for many years to come and continue to provide quality entertainment for competitors and fans.”

“Most businesses form a business deal and partnership when constructing an agreement like this, in our case it was a relationship that turned into a partnership. The last four years has been nothing short of exciting watching the growth and changes in the speedway. We are very excited to extend our agreement another 5 years and see what is in store over this time. Thank you to Scott and Kolten for coming together and making this relationship one that will be remembered forever,” Dean Berkheimer said.

BAPS Motor Speedway will kick off the 2022 season on Saturday, March 19. The program will feature Super Sportsman, Late Models, and Legends.
