Central PA 358 Point Series update 5/1/16

This week the Central PA 358 Point Series moved to Lincoln Speedway this week with 31 cars pitside. Rain moved in before the completion of the consi and the remainder of the event will be run on Tuesday May 10th. The event will stay a point race for the series even though it will be run mid week.

With this weekend's race being moved to May 10th that will make for an exciting and taxing 7 days for the Central PA 358 Point Series. Next Friday May 6th the series will have 2 races at Williams Grove Speedway for their 2nd race of 2016 while Trail Way Speedway will host the series for the 3rd time in 2016. Saturday night the series will shift to Lincoln Speedway while Sunday night the series will move to Susquehanna Speedway for the 2nd round of the Capitol Renegade King of the 358's Series. After 1 night off the series will return to Lincoln Speedway for the completion of this past Saturday's race. Then May 13th the Capitol Renegade Kinf of the 358's Series will move to the Historic Half Mile, Williams Grove Speedway for race 3 of the 8 race series. The following night the Central PA 358 Point Series will cap off the biggest 8 days in its history by being part of BAPTS night at Lincoln Speedway. That is 7 races for the drivers to make their mark on both the Central PA 358 Point Series and  the Capitol Renegade King of the 358's Series.

Monday also is the kickoff of the Central PA 358 Point Series Most Popular Driver Award Voting. All voting will will be done on the series Face Book page which you can found by looking up Central PA 358 Point Series. 10 drivers names will be posted every morning and the fans will have 24 hrs to vote for their favorite driver by clicking LIKE under the drivers name. The top 2 vote getters each day will move to the finalls of the voting. The winner will join drivers like Nate Snyder(2009),Nate Becker(2010),Eric Tomecek(2011),Cody Keller(2012),Chase Dietz(2013, and the only 2 time winner of the award Ashley Cappetta (2014,2015). The voting will be open to any 358 driver who has started a heat race in the 358 division in 2016 and the award will be handed out at a later date in front of the fans, so make sure you get your votes counted because trust me every vote counts.
