Port Royal Sept. 7 & 8 Tuscarora 50 Races Could Establish 2018 All Stars Titlist

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

8/12/18

PORT ROYAL, Pa. – Amid a torrid battle to be the 2018 Arctic Cat All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars series champion, the 51st annual, $51,000 to win All Stars Port Royal Speedway Tuscarora 50 stands in the way of a title.

For the big three of the All Stars this season battling for the crown, it will be no cakewalk for Aaron Reutzel, Carson Macedo and Chad Kemenah to navigate the two-day Tuscarora 50 All Stars stand at Port Royal.

Reutzel of Clute, Texas, is the current point leader by a fragile two-point margin over Lemoore, California’s Carson Macedo.  And just 14 points back of Macedo is previous titlist Chad Kemenah of Findlay, Ohio.

Slated for September 7 and 8 at Port Royal Speedway, each of the All Stars Tuscarora 50 races will pay full points toward the 2018 All Stars championship standings but to get any of those valuable points during the coveted affair, Reutzel, Macedo and Kemenah will have to battle the entire Pennsylvania Posse not to mention some of the other shining sprint car stars the nation has to offer that will invade.

And if the fields for the shows are anything like the car counts that were in the 60s last year, it could be tough for any or all of the trio to even make the main events.

And that would spell disaster for any hopes of a series crown.

All eyes will undoubtedly be fixed on Port Royal Speedway when the two-day Tuscarora 50 affair blossoms into sprint car mania on September 7 and 8 and what they will be seeing will more than likely dictate just who becomes the 2018 All Stars champion.

The September 8 Tuscarora 50 race alone offers a total sprint car purse worth more than $105,000.

It will be a sprint car match up between the All Stars and the Pennsylvania Posse sprint cars spanning two days.  It will be a sprint car spectacle.  It will be the kind of event that makes or breaks a championship season.

And it will all be at the 164th annual Juniata County Fair and Port Royal Speedway in just under one month.

Presented by Ramsey’s Garage & Car Wash of Mifflintown as well as Packer’s Concessions of Centre Hall, the track marquee Tuscarora 50 event will conclude the weeklong Juniata County Fair that is held on the grounds surrounding the speedway.

The Night Before The 50 will be presented by former area promoter Tedd Reitz.
