Port Royal Returns to Saturday Racing With Two-Division Show

Port Royal Speedway – PORT ROYAL, PA – (March 10, 2022) After an exciting 80th Annual Opening Day presented by Packer's Concessions, LLC. kicked off the 2022 racing season at Port Royal Speedway last Sunday, the Juniata County oval is set to return to it's familiar Saturday race day on March 12th.

For the second consecutive weekend it will be the Weikert's Livestock 410 Sprint Cars and the Krill Recycling, LLC Super Late Models in competition with the the sprint cars racing for $4000 to win and the Late Models vying for $3000 to win.

Gates Open at 1pm with racing set to kick off at 4pm. GA- $20, Students- $10, Pits- $30

On the Sprint Car side of things, Lance Dewease enters the weekend as the point leader after he scored the Opening Day victory for the fifth time in his career. Dewease now owns a whopping 120 career victories at the Speedway and only trails all-time winningest driver Keith Kauffman by nine victories in the track record books. Mike Wagner, Justin Peck, Danny Dietrich and Logan Wagner complete the top five in points after one weekend of racing.

In the Super Late Model division, Colton Flinner enters as the defending winner and as a result he sits on top of the point standings as well. Flinner's Opening Day triumph gives him three career victories at the track. Kyle Hardy, Gary Stuhler, Trever Feathers and Kyle Lee complete the top five in the standings.
